WHO ARE WE?
Under One Roof houses multiple organizations and provides efficient, quality, mission-enhancing workspace to organizations who provide family services to the citizens of the Lake Eufaula area in Oklahoma.
More than just offices, this facility has become a sustainable center for strength for the area to dream together, work together, and grow together.
2nd Chances Thrift Shop began in 2020 and has proven to be a wonderful way for people to have a worthy cause to donate their gently used household items, and clothes to as well as providing extremely cost effective ways for families to have things they might otherwise not have been able to afford.

About us
Under One Roof Inc., located in Eufaula, Oklahoma, began in 1996 as a youth emergency shelter for abused and neglected children. The following year, the organization acquired a former nursing home, and its transformation into a community resource center became a true grassroots effort, with local groups volunteering time and resources to renovate the space. Over time, Under One Roof evolved into a multi-tenant nonprofit family resource center, providing affordable office space and shared services to 16 charitable organizations and programs. This “one-stop shop” model fosters collaboration and makes essential human services more accessible. In 2020, the 2nd Chances Thrift Shop was launched to provide low-cost household items to the public and agency clients. Governed by a diverse Board of Directors and supported by part-time staff and AARP Foundation participants, Under One Roof—collectively with the Tenant Partners housed under our roof—serves over 15,000 people each year and continues to thrive as a community-driven hub for vital support services.
OUR MISSION
Under One Roof is a nonprofit resource center dedicated to strengthening the Lake Eufaula community by providing affordable workspace, access to food, health, and safety services, and shared resources to both individuals and our collaborative partner organizations. We foster a welcoming, inclusive environment guided by empathy, respect, and responsiveness. As champions of collaboration, we are driven by hope and a unified mission to deliver meaningful support to those we serve.
